Phuket Town
Built in large part by the wealthy tin barons of a century and more ago, the Old Town is packed with grandiose Sino-Colonial mansions, as well as shrines, Buddhist and Chinese temples, quaint cafes, tiny printing shops and absorbing museums.
The central market bustles from early morning until the heat of the day hits at around noon and the shopping is the typical Thai mix of designer goods and hand-made curios. Portuguese traders influenced the development of a unique style of architecture here known as Sino-Portuguese.
There is a wealth of restaurants and clubs for visitors looking for entertainment and our charming Phuket hotel near Phuket Town offers easy access to a plethora of such attractions.
